Why book with me?

I am an animal lover and rescued and fostered pets since I was a teenager.
I've had many pets go from running away, growling, and biting at me to cuddling me.
Pawrents who?! Your beloved pets will have reduced separation anxiety when they have my company.
I'm a scientist so if your pet has any health problems I'm going to research how to best meet their needs.

My Qualifications

I grew up with pets since before I could walk and have been in pet care professionally for over 10 years.

I am a trained dog adoption counselor from my years volunteering with Capital Area Animal Welfare Society (CAAWS). This means I am well versed in what it takes to make a pet feel safe and at home.
Through my time at CAAWS and in pet care I have worked with all kinds of breeds with different needs and even reactivity issues.
I trained my own dog, Kiki, as a service animal (>35 class hours) and so we both naturally pass those teachings on to your pets. Clients often notice improved behaviors when they return from their trips!

I promise to provide your pet the best care I can; paying attention to their needs, and how best to make them feel comfortable
If your pet has anxiety or aggression issues, I will not turn them away, I just ask for full transparency on what their triggers and reactions are so that I can accommodate them
I do meet and greets before taking on your pet to ensure best fit. For special needs cases I may also schedule one or a series of 'interviews', which are typically 20 to 60 minutes in my or your home to acclimatize your pet to both me and your absence. I find this especially helpful for anxious pets.

Payment Policies

Payment is due before booking and confirms your pet’s reservation. For first-time clients I offer a 50% deposit option with the rest due after the booking. I also offer discount packages for multiple day bookings.
Pricing is based on your pet’s size, needs, and temperament.
Additional fees may apply after booking if your pet is not fully housebroken and/or injuries myself or my dog.
